Now that we can move again the question comes immediately, where would you like to travel?
My answer is Cortona, one of the most charming hill towns of Tuscany! On top of a hill, with amazing open views of Valdichiana, unique windy streets and picturesque corners, ancient history and beautiful architecture, this has to be on everybody’s bucket list.
What about doing a guided outdoor walking tour of Cortona that touches its major attractions and reveals unexpected discoveries that one does not easily find by him/herself? With me of course!
The at times steep climbs should not discourage you, as the reward is immense – imagine seeing a small chapel of the early Middle Ages, traces of Etruscan and Roman architecture, centuries-old churches that tell incredible stories of the past, massive city walls almost completely preserved, medieval streets where doll-size houses still give shelter to locals and visitors, old monasteries that once gave hospitality to Franciscan pilgrims, open squares bustling with life, and a lot more - all this to be enjoyed in total comfort and safety of course.
Any special interest in the Etruscans? In the movie Under The Tuscan Sun? in the typical products of the area? Just ask and a custom cultural/food/wine tour will be designed for you!
